MITCHEL WANJIKU

Mitchel Wanjiku is a statistician with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics with Computing and over three years of experience in research and data analysis. She is passionate about technological freedom, digital rights, and advancing liberty through innovation and leadership.

She currently serves as a Programs Intern at African Students For Liberty, where she leads the Liberty Builders Program, supports the planning and execution of regional trainings, and uses data to track impact while fostering the development of young leaders committed to freedom and prosperity in Africa. Previously, as the first female Regional Coordinator on the African Leadership Team at ASFL, she led the TechLiberty campaigns and coordinated leadership programs to strengthen the impact of student leaders across the continent.

Outside of ASFL, she is the founder of the Kenya Centre for New Liberalism, an initiative dedicated to promoting liberal values, policy engagement, and civic leadership in Kenya.
