Emmanuel Muma is an Industrial and Trade Policy Expert with a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of East London. He has over 9 years of extensive experience in industrial policy and regional trade, with a focus on advancing strategic value-chain development and public investment.
Emmanuel currently serves as a Business Development Manager at the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research and previously worked as a Trade and Investment Expert at EURO EXIM Bank, where he played a key role in strengthening cross-border trade and economic cooperation.
He has published leading research on the mining and tourism sectors, focusing on national and regional value chain development, competitiveness, and sustainable growth transitions. His research interests include trade policy, industrial value chain development, and equitable benefit-sharing in resource extraction and trade across Africa.
