Tasline Akoth Otieno is a young leader with a bachelor’s degree in Arts (Political Science and Sociology) currently pursuing Masters of Gender and Development at The University of Nairobi. With over 7 years of experience working in areas such as peace and security, Youth and Gender, her research, project management, policy formulation, monitoring, and evaluation skills are top-notch. Currently, she is working for Mombasa County as a Member of Parliament as a researcher and also part of the Youth Task Force in Empowered Youth Generation in Governance Project by The Oslo Center and Uraia Trust. She founded Women in Action Network- Kenya (WAN_Kenya), an organisation that works to empower women and youth economically, socially and politically. She has a keen interest in Women in Peace and
security.
