Kasmil is a free market, transparency and accountability advocate. A graduate of CPPR-Atlas Policy School program in India, class of 2015.He has used various platforms to advocate for free market oriented policies. Kasmil has experience in Information & ; Communications Technology and has worked for companies such Samsung Kenya , Alcatel East Africa , Systems Applications Products Africa (SAP Africa ) based in South, East & West Africa, Oracle and Safaricom Kenya. He has also worked at East Africa Policy Centre as Programs Manager. He holds a Bachelor degree in business information technologies from Strathmore University, MSC Information Systems Cyber Security from New Mexico Tech University and a member of the National cyber league (USA).

Kasmil Gago is also a mentor at The National Mentorship Movement, an initiative born out of the successful collaboration between such entities as The Black Management Forum (BMF), The Jewish Business Support Organization, Ortjet and corporate South Africa. It involves some of South Africa’s leading businesses such as Deloitte, EOH, FCB and Primedia and many of South Africa’s leading business executives from across many industries. The NMM is more than an idea. It is a belief in the power of the innovative spirit of South African’s to make the country great by tapping into the collective knowledge of successful South African business leaders and entrepreneurs. The objective is to connect the right mentors with the right entrepreneurs and in so doing, start a conversation that will lead to the exchanging of ideas, experience thereby increasing the chances of success.
