Mr. Charles Nyakumbo is an Automation and Business Intelligence Engineer at Dimension Data-East and West Africa, a Senior Coordinator, and a Prometheus Fellow at Students for Liberty. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Knowledge Management from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (Kenya) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Hayek Global College in Brasilia, Brazil. Mr. Nyakumbo is passionate about ideas of liberty, freedom, and excellence in life, with a specific focus on Ayn Rand’s philosophy of objectivism. He joined the liberty movement in 2018 as a local coordinator; he later served as a national coordinator for Kenya and progressed to a Regional Coordinator for the East Africa Region. He was awarded the National Coordinator of the Year in 2021, and the East Africa region was awarded the Region of the Year the same year. In 2022, he won the Regional Coordinator of the Year award and was also crowned the Student of the Year. East Africa Region retained its crown as the region of the
year.

Nyakumbo is dedicated to staying at the forefront of technology trends, continuously enhancing skills, and leveraging a passion for innovation to drive positive outcomes for organizations. With a solid foundation in both automation engineering and business intelligence, he is keen on how emerging technologies can be used to address global challenges and crises, including environment, business automation, and agriculture, among others.
